Birmingham sees 4.1% growth in passenger numbers

Birmingham Airport April Passenger figures Birmingham Airport welcomed 1,002,473 passengers through its terminal doors during the month of April, this is up +4.1% up on the same month last year. Scheduled traffic accounted for 87% of the total, with charter passengers making up the remaining 13%. First UK airside M&S on the go shop

SSP and M&S announce first airside M&S SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, has today announced it will be opening the UK’s first airside M&S Food to Go in Birmingham Airport. The M&S Food to Go will offer a broad selection of all-day food and drink products including wholesome wraps, freshly made baguettes, sushi, salads, confectionery, smoothies, beers and wines. Birmingham Airport Experiences best October on record

Birmingham Airport has reported its highest ever recorded passenger figures for the month of October 2018. The Airport welcomed 1,141,864 passengers through its doors – a 6.1% increase on last year and the overall best October to date. The top three most visited destinations in October were; Dublin, Amsterdam and Dubai. The destinations which experienced the highest passenger growth in the month of October versus last year include Venice (+98.7), Krakow (+95.1%), Naples (+83%) and Prague (+52.5%).
