Sudden strike yesterday at BRU by some baggage handlers led to considerable dispruption. Some flights are still cancelled this morning.

Yep we are! At Cardiff Airport they provide a bin to stand on!
The facilities for spotters in Europe do seem better.

We have a great spot at BHX Jez and if we had a platform, we would be officially one of the best spotting airports in Europe.

If i ever win the lottery folks i will buy us a viewing platform, subject to planning permission from Solihull MBC of course. :geek::geek:
 
Other than Manchester airport perhaps, I can imagine any UK airport spending that kind of money on a viewing platform. A bizzare approach considering they are all trying to expand their revenue streams.

That is true. A viewing park could be a good source of revenue for many airports in the UK.

5 trips done and 45 miles walked,. Also the RAF has had 4 F35B Lightning follow me yesterday and today....
My plans got altered slightly as one of the minibus companies had to cancel 3 trips and refunded me but will be getting nice discount when I rebook them.
wondering why on my "holidays" I choose to get up 2 hours earlier than when going to work. 6 trips in 6 days soon coming up with 3 more days to sort out
