Looks like there has been some changes days wise for some of the routes.
It looks like that Corfu and Larnaca will now operate on Thursdays and Sundays instead of Tuesdays and Saturdays and Faro, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays instead of Thursdays and Sundays.

What the changes mean now is that effectively Faro will be only 2 weekly as Ryanair also operates on Tuesday and Saturdays!

Arrecife (Lanzarote) now on sale 3 x weekly for Winter 2022/2023 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Nothing else on sale just yet, other than SSH.
The seat plans for both routes show an A320 as well.

Heard WizzAir from Cardiff advertised quite a few times on Nation Radio today.

I have today seen my first WizzAir @ CWL advert on Instagram!

Makes a nice change from hearing that god awful song on the Jet2 advert which is on, what feels like, every five minutes.

Booked a few days away at the end of April to Mallorca flying with Wizz, when searching the prices were roughly the same for most of the routes, around the £120 return mark with cabin bags but i noticed that Lanzarote and Larnaca were nearly double that price around the £200 return mark and that still despite all the other flights having a seat map for the A321 Lanzarote still has one for an A320.

Some absolute bargain deals to be had with Wizz Air that I’ve seen shared around on social media lately. Hopefully some positive PR for the airline and airport, which transpires into further bookings.

In an industry where price is such a heavy factor in the vast majority of people’s decision-making process, nobody can say that Wizz haven’t given it a good go against Easyjet, Ryanair and Jet2 across the bridge with their current offering and fares.

If this doesn’t work, then CWL will be really up against it … Let’s remain hopeful that COVID stays away and we can all enjoy a far more fruitful Summer/Autumn (which would of course be to Wizz, and others benefit too).

As an aside, has anyone managed to work out what’s going on with the seemingly “Rogue” A320 on the ACE flights?

It may be some sort of hangover from the winter as Sharm el Sheikh has a seat plan for an A320 and Lanzarote was originally winter only I believe.

I think that seems the only logical explanation Jerry. The rest of the schedule seems to fit quite nicely.

If I remember correctly the 2nd departure of the day Lanzarote is on the seat plan is for an A321 and the same goes for the route that replaces it for June to September.

I can’t actually open those files Jerry, but it sounds promising!

I was having a scan through their fare calendar earlier, and things definitely appear to have picked up on the bookings front.

Must not have uploaded properly the first time so i've reloaded them and hopefully they can be seen now.

Following on from my Vueling post yesterday this is what Wizz will have onsale peak Summer 2022 from the 1st week of August.

Corfu 2 weekly Thursday and Sunday
Heraklion 3 weekly Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Larnaca 2 weekly Thursday and Sunday
Faro 2 weekly Tuesday and Saturday
Alicante 2 weekly Tuesday and Saturday
Palma de Mallorca 2 weekly Tuesday and Saturday
Tenerife 3 weekly Monday, Wednesday and Friday
16 weekly departures, 7 routes and in total 7360 seats
What's interesting is that weekly departures wise Wizz and Vueling have the same now. Though Wizz have more routes and more seats onsale.
