Still no arrivals or departures shown on the BRS website pages.
And not all flight screens operational yet.

Was Gatwick 'hacked' though? I thought that was an IT malfunction. This is not uncommon. similar happened at Gatwick a week or so ago and airport staff were using whiteboards to display flight information. The beauty of technology

I looked into the terminal briefly this afternoon. The departure screens appeared to be working but inside the arrivals entrance was a white board listing all the airlines and their check-in desks. And not all flight screens operational yet.
There is no news on when the issue willbe resolved. Could be few more days or weeks. Its not good for the brand and its customers.
That's fatal to mention what ever the problem. If any thing caused problems and then all ok,and it gets mentioned then its bound to go wrong. Its happened to me many times and also many other people as well. The usual thing people say is don't mention it as you will put a curse on it.Friday 21 September 2018
Today's cancellations.
easyJet U26161 to Amsterdam at 0750 returning as U26162 at 1105
KLM Cityhopper KL1049 from Amsterdam at 0850 returning as KL1050 at 0920
flybmi BM1825 to Frankfurt at 1145 returning as BM1826 at 1545
KLM Cityhopper KL1053 from Amsterdam at 1655 returning as KL1054 at 1725
flybmi BM1837 to Hamburg at 1644. Presumably the return BM1838 at 2050 is also cancelled although nothing shown on BRS website arrivals page
Apparently adverse weather in Amsterdam caused the cancellations there, with two of the four KLM Cityhopper rotations cancelled and one of the two easyJet rotations cancelled.
As for flybmi, I knew I should not have commented in the BRS flybmi thread yesterday that they had significantly reduced the number of cancellations in recent weeks.
The following nortice now appears on the airport website.
Live flight information has been restored to digital screens in key locations in the terminal but is currently unavailable on our website. Flights remain unaffected by this technical issue. We apologise for any inconvenience.
(BRS)We have a number of FID screens in the terminal that are now up and running
(Me) I travelled on Friday and Sunday, no Check-in or Gate screens were working is this still the case
(BRS) some none-essential screens remain out of service, but this should not affect passenger journeys
(Me) I agree, but it does affect the customer experience
Complete silence.........(BRS) ..............................
I flew out of BRS to NCE on Friday 21st Sept and returned on Sunday 23rd Sept, minimal FID's were working in Departures, not one Check-in desk had a screen operating, in the departure lounge only a couple of departure screens were operating and again not one screen at the gates were operating.
With the above in mind i contacted the BRS airport social media team to ask whether the issues had been resolved?
The conversation is below:-
Complete silence.........
So over a week later, the issues have not been resolved, at one point this morning the website arrivals / departures was void of any flights.
