Leeds Utd seem to travel to away games using vehicles of "Fourways of Leeds" I know when they went to Spurs they actually used the Leeds Rhinos branded Temsa

They do fly too. Their coach seems to meet them at whatever airport they fly into.

It certainly seems so as he did alot of curcuits (in close proximity to Shannon) before deciding to abort and return to Shannon.

Fuel dumping presumably.

A heavy B747 about to head across the Atlantic would require to burn off/dump fuel before landing back at Shannon.

My guess would be that there was a technical issue after departure and the crew elected to return to Shannon. They then headed out over the sea to dump enough fuel to be below maximum landing weight before returning to land at Shannon.
