    Ryanair

Didn’t last long. Tirana also going apparently

    easyJet

Further east? One of the ME3? Doubtful.

    easyJet

It often takes one carrier to fly a route to make others compete (RAK, CPH etc) and we can’t say goodbye to Turkish if we’ve never said hello to them.

    easyJet

    Yep. Istanbul Friday and Monday.

    Ryanair

Great to see them trying a new route from Bristol rather than just duplicating easyJet routes already in existence. However, the flight time is poor should you want to visit Tirana for a weekend break. I’m glad to see Ryanair has woken up a little after years of stagnation at BRS

    easyJet

now bookable on the app. Interesting destination. Close to DBV airport too for a two-centre trip, but the Bay of Kotor is a beautiful area

    Wizz Air

I really hoped Wizz would slowly expand from BRS. They have a lot of European bases that could fly here. They serve a lot of cities that wouldn’t even compete with EasyJet or Ryanair but as someone else said, they chop and change their routes frequently. Not an airline I could trust to fly me...

    Swiss

2 days per week too (Fri and Mon) which makes it much more attractive, although checking a couple of weekend trips next May comes in at over £330 return!

    Ryanair

How strange. Ryanair flights now show on my app but they didn’t last night.

    Ryanair

True… but it’s not bookable in my app next April. My flight back from PMI in April with easyJet has just been cancelled and looking at Kayak there is an evening Ryanair flight on 22/4 but my app shows no flights all month.

    Ryanair

Has PMI been dropped? Can’t see it being bookable after the end of October 22

Decent addition to BRS. Sensible days and sensible times. Makes for a good weekend break.

    Route Development & Rumours

In some respects, yes, one flight is better than none but it’s only attractive to those wanting to fly to Switzerland for a week (or holidaying via a connection for 7 or 14 days) I am sure plenty of people would fancy a 2/3 day break in Zurich but they won’t get the chance from Bristol and if...

    Route Development & Rumours

Just one flight per week though, on a Saturday. Starts 4 Feb.

Bristol Airport on Facebook are reporting an extra A320 next summer, bringing the total number of based aircraft to 17.

    Random Stuff!

I’m all for BBC moving into a new state of the art site which is befitting of modern TV in 2021. I’m sure their Whiteladies are site isnt, but as for the zoo, no one wants to see virtual reality animals and Bristol Zoo want to maximise the value of their site by selling it to developers… they...

Airport Master Plan for next 30 Years - Consultation

Are the expansion plans and the decision that is soon to be made ‘all or nothing’? What I mean by that is, if the decision is to reject the cap being raised to 12mppa, could they still approve the new car parks and the bus terminal etc? I think that is so important to the airport. The current...

I believe the list may be getting announced today at 5pm

    Ryanair

Would be good to get some Ryanair good news. I often wonder whether they want to compete with EasyJet and Jet2 at Bristol or will they slowly diminish their presence?
