It is relevant. Its a topic about a new start up airline. There is a business case for it, if nothing else but to compare adv/disadvs against operating from LBA. I think `leedslad` points some of those out. I think another sensible poster mentioned the fact that there is pretty much bad fog...

Wow - quite taken aback by the defensive nature of the replies - i`m not trying to suggest or persuade `Fingers` to site his airline anywhere - i`m merely musing and thinking aloud - i think CF has a case for a small niche market - whats the problem?

I`d be more inclined to use CF train station. A mile from the airport. That brings everybody into the catchment area.

CF is equidistant between Leeds and York? I think CF could do very well as a biz jet hub.

Re: Jet2.com I think we are being unduly harsh on the customers. At the end of the day, that should be the whole purpose and focus of the airline..... Their Customers. Without customers or fare paying passengers there would be no airlines. So let's quit with the fare paying passenger bashing.

Re: Jet2.com Sorry nothing more factual but I heard a tale that the French authorities at Lyon refused to allow the passengers off the plane until they had received payment for fuel. Apparently the passengers were held on the plane for 4 hours with no food or water and a broken toilet..... And...
