The airport this winter is certainly more busy than winter seasons before covid times. In fact on some days you would think it was a summer season from not so long back with the amount of flights.I watched the live stream last night. It was pretty good, plenty of activity. Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Buzz, Wizz and Jet2 all made at least one appearance.
He just passed over baildon moor at just 3,345ft, very low and loud!A.400M ZM419(Ascot 462) inbound for training, routing to LBA beacon 1840
Could you hear the siren over the noise of the rotors? The Police P68 G-POLV is very busy over Leeds, Bradford and North Yorkshire tonight. Flew over me but I couldn’t see its flashing blue light.
No rotors. It's a fixed wing aircraft not a coppercopter.Could you hear the siren over the noise of the rotors?
You are of course correct. I speed read the post and missed the 'P68' description. I therefore went by the reg of 'G-POLV' and assumed it to be the same as the Police helicopter 'G-POLD' (which I always thought should be 'G-PLOD') that was BHX based. No rotors. It's a fixed wing aircraft not a coppercopter.
Shame it wasn't G-PLOD isn't it? Absolutely perfect. You are of course correct. I speed read the post and missed the 'P68' description. I therefore went by the reg of 'G-POLV' and assumed it to be the same as the Police helicopter 'G-POLD' (which I always thought should be 'G-PLOD') that was BHX based.
Not sure how many but yes they live at Multiflight. How many aircraft do they have based at LBA? are they in a hanger?
