What has Teeside got that LBA hasn't @LBA4EVER?

It is in with the Oil market isn't it. I always thought that area was a key employee base for Oil workers etc. Also it probably has someone subsidising the routes. Offer the money subsidiary's and away you go. And maybe they are tapping into a market that would have to travel to NCL from the local area. Or wanting to offer that once normality comes back.

Its totally mind blowing that an airline like Loganair are not interested in LBA, even eastern only have a limited operation but yet continue to expand from teeside!
They have a mayor that actually cares about the airport and ispicking his pocket for those airlines to go there. And also the airport is making improvements to its facilities I think one is adding duty free back.

Loganair clearly like what his ambitions and efforts are to improve connectivity from Teeside. And the airport improvements to have a base with a number of routes.

But I wouldn’t get hopes up about anything new at LBA as Loganair are not keen on LBA like lbaspotter said.

I see Loganair have quite rightly partly taken their bat home with Manchester over the arrival of BE, resulting in the removal of their NQY service. Would be nice if they saw LBA as a viable alternative for a NQY service, although I suspect not. Also seems very strange to me why BE arent interested in it as thought it went really well for Mk1

It’s not Manchester they have the issue with, it’s Newquay. So I’d say a LBA-NQY on Loganair is highly unlikely

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
