Totally agree. The shrill whine of a RR Dart (or better, four of them) had a magic to it. Many of today's propliners have a very 'dry' sound to them.I cannot get excited about any propeller aircraft since the demise of the Viscount. That aircraft sung to us in a way only jets could.
