Surely they need to go 2 daily year round before a third daily rotation is considered.

A nightstopper would open up many more destinations from MAN and BHX (not least PIA flights from Istanbul).

This may change as tickets are still on sale which may mean changing to a A330 if needed

I hope they do go to x2 daily permanently soon. Turkish could be a real competitor to emirates if they offered more capacity. With Qatar gone, Turkish could fill that gap. I get that QR plans to come back but in their 3 year absence, Turkish has still managed to operate to BHX. TK have shown that bhx is still a key market for them. In those 3 years qr passengers might’ve switched to tk. It’s clear from the aircraft upgrades that bhx should get a capacity increase, whether that is a year round x2 daily service or permanent aircraft upgrade.

Don’t think the permanent aircraft change will happen as the A330s are also needed to be used on other routes, whatever is available goes on the BHX route

I don't think it's a secret anymore that growth is rumoured, especially if the PK code share continues.

If it happens and if they choose a third rotation over a permanent wide body it doesn't necessarily have to be daily, I could see 17/18 weekly at some point.
Equipment change happens only if the demand starts to get higher. The Allocations is A321 CEO / NEO, A330s are only used for higher demand. MAN seems to be getting 787s now with the demand their getting.

I remember when Turkish Sent in 737-800's now they have upgraded does the MAX8 have more Seats than there 737-800's and one airline we get has MAX8's in there Livery but saying it is operated by Turkish Airlines to either Antalya or Dalaman will this actually be Turkish liveried MAX8's this time

Their MAX8's and -800s have the same seating capacity. They probably use the MAX8 over the -800 as their UK routes are some of their longer ones that they use 737s on, and as the MAX has a better fuel burn than the NG, it makes sense to put them on the longer routes.

The aircraft in similar livery operating to Antalya and Dalaman is AnadoluJet. They're a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines that operates mainly domestic and regional routes from Istanbul, as well as the majority of international routes from non-Istanbul cities in Turkey.

AnadoluJet aircraft are also used for Turkish airlines routes if there’s not enough aircraft.

No I think same number of seats The only real difference is the slightly higher undercarriage to accommodate the larger

Sadly I don't think Anadolu are flying the Antalya route to BHX this year.
They were pulled early last year.
However Sun Express are shown as daily peak season.
The only difference between the 738s and 8MAX ,us a slightly longer undercarriage to accommodate the new larger CFM Leap-1B engines, for ground clearance reasons.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?
