Re previous post:

Prosecutors declined to charge him because passengers were reluctant to talk about his outburst to authorities,

What about the cabin crew? They couldn't have failed to notice what was going on.

Sends out all the wrong messages.

This incident, if the reports are to be believed, could have had very serious consequences for some people on board.

If somebody behaves so bad cabin crew decide it's necessary to restrain the person using gaffer tape, surely the person deserves the full weight of law in whichever civilised country they land in. In this day and age if buses have surveillance equipment on board why not aircraft?

They can reach the US west coast with the LR. I wouldn’t be surprised if they drop their larger aircraft long term, although they could potentially have some A321s in a higher density configuration than the 752s.

Surprised they haven't gone for the 788.

At one point they did have orders for 1 or 2 I believe, but eventually dropped them.

Perfect aircraft for Icelandair IMO. Allows them to serve all their current markets.
