Sudden strike yesterday at BRU by some baggage handlers led to considerable dispruption. Some flights are still cancelled this morning.

Brussels Airport has spent 650,000 euros on building viewing platforms and facilities for plane spotters.

Yep we are! At Cardiff Airport they provide a bin to stand on!
The facilities for spotters in Europe do seem better.
We have a great spot at BHX Jez and if we had a platform, we would be officially one of the best spotting airports in Europe.

If i ever win the lottery folks i will buy us a viewing platform, subject to planning permission from Solihull MBC of course. :geek::geek:

Other than Manchester airport perhaps, I can imagine any UK airport spending that kind of money on a viewing platform. A bizzare approach considering they are all trying to expand their revenue streams.

That is true. A viewing park could be a good source of revenue for many airports in the UK.
