Marko 1, on the Bristol forum site, has mentioned that Ryanair has started loading Summer 2024 flights on the app. It is very disappointing that FR have not released more for the winter 23/24 from CWL, when they have expanded at many other airports including Newquay. and Exeter, I thought Faro had done quite well last winter, and I was hoping for the reintroduction of Tenerife, let's hope summer 2024 will be much better.

reintroduction of Tenerife,
Yeah me too, i was hoping they'd add it but it appears we have too settle for Dublin and Belfast. Hopefully we might see Tenerife added for summer 2024.

Looking at their website at it looks like Dublin for Summer 2024 is being loaded. Daily flights like this summer.

So according to a post on Facebook Ryanair have added flights on Malaga on the 31/10/23 and 1/11/23
Guessing they’re not operating it through winter then and these are just mop up flights covering the end of school October half term.

And with a 05:50 departure from AGP am sure they’ll sell well…

Malaga isn't all year round. That's Faro.

Ah yes, my mistake. Sadly FAO isn’t on sale either…

Anyway, I’m not being negative like some users think - I’m just wanting more winter options as usually when I want to go away in February the VY flights are already rather pricy because of the school half term!

Of course a sign that sales are good, but competition is good too.

:)(y)

All airlines out of all airports hike up prices during school holidays. That's why I avoid school holidays from any airport.

Competition can be a double edged sword though for an airport like Cardiff. Was hoping we'd see something like Tenerife from Ryanair but it looks like it's not be this winter. Fingers crossed for next summer!

Extra DUB rotations added for the Christmas and New Year period.

Extra flights on Thu 21 and Thu 28 December as well as Thu 4 January.

Guessing Six Nations additions could well be coming next…

:)

It is being reported on the other forum, (prune), the Ryanair have dropped the Belfast Int, service for winter 23-24. that's bad news.

Yep no more flights onsale after 6/11/23 unfortunately. Hopefully we'll see it returning for Summer 24.

Not sure BFS was the right fit for FR and CWL given than EI on BHD is served daily in summer and 5 x weekly in winter - BHD being far more convenient than BFS (for Belfast city itself) however FR fares are of course more attractive but the frequency not so…

Let’s hope FR can offer a bit more next summer whether that includes BFS or not.

It was definitely an unexpected destination for Ryanair. Hopefully we'll see more from them in the summer, i don't see where any other growth for the airport is going to come from in the future.

I would think both CWL and FR want this to eventually happen - it just needs the right deal to be struck and then I’m sure we’ll see an FR base.

Summer 2024 might be the one!

;)
No doubt the airport is talking to them and it would be a big coup for them to attract a base from Ryanair.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
