They raised £172 million from issuing more shares. Plus £90 million from sale of Fowler and Welch. I’m sure they could raise nearly as much if not more from more issues of shares tbh.
Sounds like tthey got enough to survive a shutdown over winter.

Jet2 have now cancelled all the planned Christmas 2020 City Break programme which was to include flights from Birmingham to both Vienna & Berlin.

Look's like they have given up, and who blames them ?? What is the point in even considering flying this winter and let's be honest who really want's too. My desire to fly or go abroad disappeared during the summer and I won't even be considering it until all this has disappeared.

Even my holiday to GC which I transferred from this August to next August looks iffy already ?? It really is a sad time to be alive :(

Faith and positivity.Take a week or month at a time. Don’t even think about your August break. It will go ahead.

Good news about Amsterdam! This will work nicely for city breaks.

I think Jersey is a ridiculous idea. I do not see this working for them. A 737 is too large of an aircraft to fill on this route and the frequency does not allow for any duration less than a week. I think this route will have enough capacity with Blue Islands for 2021.

I just hope Blue Islands stick to their guns and maintain their up to 2x daily plans for 2021 as I do not see Jet2 actually starting this route so this announcement could end in BHX actually being served less to Jersey.

I doubt Blue Islands will be worried about a weekly flight. I expect that the Jet2 flight is for a week long package from the holiday side.
