hopefully I have covered all destinations and flights, the Lufthansa Frankfurt and Air France Paris CDG now have too many daily aircraft changes, so I have had to put the aircraft type down as “EQV” Equipment Varies.

As per usual, expect plenty of changes between now and the end of October. Expect aircraft changes on Air France, Eurowings, KLM, Lufthansa, SunExpress, Swiss flights, and Easyjet will use the A320neo (32N) instead of the A320ceo (320) on flights, likewise Jet2 with their A321s, most flights will be on the A321ceo, but at least one/two A321neo’s should be based all summer.

I also expect TUI charter flight times to be tweaked between now and May, if the last few years are anything to go by, still believe 2 Fly4 Airlines B738s will be based, not sure yet if the current 2 Enter Air B738s will be operating only until the end of April, or will continue in the summer period.

At an interview I had with fly4 they said it should remain 2 aircraft.

Great work, Matthew. It highlights the lack of flights to Milan, Madrid and Brussels, as discussed elsewhere previously on the forum, amongst others. easyJet to the rescue hopefully, in the coming years.

indeed, would also like to see a few German routes come back, Stuttgart, Hanover, Hamburg, and also the lack of Scandinavian routes, Oslo, Helsinki would be good. Plenty of European routes still for easyjet to pick up ;)

Brilliant work Matt.

What it highlights to me is the lack of daily departures to major cities. Brum just not creating the loads to boost frequencies any more. Over 120 destinations is one thing, but two flights a week to somewhere like Stockholm is an issue.

Provisional Winter Scheduled & Charter Timetable 2024-5:-

all subject to change.

Jet 2 charter flights to Enontekio & Kuusamo subject to confirmation.

Swiss Zurich flights have too many aircraft changes to mention, but expect flights by Airbus A320, A321, A220-100, A220-300, Embraer E190, E195, E190-2, E195-2 aircraft.

Lufthansa evening flight from Frankfurt, operates a staggering 5 mins earlier due to the airport closure between 4th November and 29th November (LH958 dept 22:05, arr 22:45)

Winter Timetable in post above, now updated to include charter flights.

Jet 2 charter flights to Enontekio & Kussamo are subject to confirmation (has anyone got any information if these flights will operate?)

TUI aircraft types from March 31st are not currently showing in google flights, so I have defaulted most of them to the B738, but expect the 737 Max to operate quite a few of them!

As usual, expect cancellations, time changes, and aircraft changes between now and summer 2025.

according to some people, you only need 1 day in each of the Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Lake District "to have seen it all". Which is why its minibus tour number 3 this year of the Yorkshire Dales for me on 16th October. Different routes and different things to see each tour.
Apologies for any issues today, I was planning on updating the site but sadly something went wrong so the upgrade has been postponed. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your kind donation to our running costs Jenny.
I've done 2 minibus tours with Mountain Goat this week. Monday was North York Moors with over 600 photos and today High Adventure in the Lakes with 750. photos. Slightly snap happy.
I've asked Gareth Southgate for the winning lottery numbers. He said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
