“The Broad Street development will see the regeneration of an underutilised site in a prime location in Birmingham.”

The scheme proposes a tall slender tower, providing commercial spaces and high end residential units in an elegant, flagship development. Over the years, the area around Broad Street has become a well-established neighbourhood and has developed into an entertainment and nightlife quarter in close proximity of the International Convention Centre, Birmingham Library and Birmingham’s Canals.

The site is well located with a large number of high quality amenities in close proximity including: Brindley Place, a mixed canal development including bars, restaurants, The Mailbox, an upmarket shopping and office development, including cine-ma, restaurant and retail and The Barclaycard Arena, an entertainment venue, where music concerts and other events are regularly.

211 Broad Street took only Taylor Grange Two working weeks to exchange contracts and completion was 4 weeks thereafter. Taylor Grange will be submitting a pre application to Birmingham City Council at the end of December 2018 with a view to getting full consent for a mixed use 35 storey super slender sky scraper.

This one certainly came out of the blue!

Really like the design of this one. Wouldn't look out of place in London or New York which I'd say is a good thing!

Starting to develop a nice cluster of high rises here. Hopefully get some more proposals for this area soon.

For a brief moment I got quite excited at the thought of that awful Travelodge getting demolished :)

Great proposal though (y)

When it's totally over the line I will celebrate, until then.....

Strong words though

Talking about the latest developments with Mercian, Knight said:

"It seemed a bit of a dream and now it's a reality.

"We're not close to the line, we're on the line, we need to push it over, it is going to happen, it is coming to Birmingham."
