KLM CITYHOPPER and Cityjet sign a codeshare and wet lease agreement.
KLM will operate 4 daily flights to LCY from AMS and Cityjet will operate another 4 daily flights with wetleased RJ 85s. Also Cityjet will operate on existing flights to Birmingham, Hamburg, Bordeaux and Belfast on behalf of KLM. That should ease pressure on Cityhoppers overstretched fleet.

Interesting post from Olton Pete in the Dried Fruit message board.

He lists a number of rotation reductions and/or aircraft downgrades at a number of UK airports this winter and next summer.

Is this Brexit-led or is the Group doing this for financial purposes or are there other reasons?

It may be down to slot restrictions at AMS and CDG? On many routes they may decide to use bigger aircraft to free up slots for other routes and new routes.
