Not sure how many B737-800 have been allocated along with the fleet of Boeing 737-300's. Thats to be worked out on another day when i have some spare time, possibly over the festive period.
I'd be more than willing to figure that out if you want
You and Yorkshire Lad have exceeded yourselves. Thank you both.
You're welcome. What helps with me is that I have lots of spare time and few other interests

Not happening in 2024, the A321's may appear in 2025 as the Boeung 737-300 fleet is due retirement 4Q 2024.

Not what I’ve heard. I’ve heard could have at least 2 in place for 24.

Has anymore been said about this possible new base using B733s? Presume not if we still have them with us in 2023!

That was a rumour made by someone in Prune who wants to be the ceo of Jet2.

Those new routes will be for Summer 2024...

You have to wonder where?

Jet2 have habits of either releasing unique niche destinations from the select 3 bases (Manchester, Birmingham, London Stansted) or from 8/9/10 bases (Bourgas as the example).

Niche wise you've certainly got more of Italy to serve, more Greek islands (Samos, Patras, Volos). By volume it would make total sense to go to Tunisia given the gap left wide open by Thomas Cook collapse, Morocco also and Egypt. All 3 could be served year round (Tunisia not in January).

Let's not forget new destinations could be bringing back Bourgas and other routes (Lisbon). Could also be new destinations from that specific base but not new to the company (e.g. Rome from London Stansted).

Didn't Bourgas operate this summer then?

My plans got altered slightly as one of the minibus companies had to cancel 3 trips and refunded me but will be getting nice discount when I rebook them.
wondering why on my "holidays" I choose to get up 2 hours earlier than when going to work. 6 trips in 6 days soon coming up with 3 more days to sort out
