Liverpool City Region is about to take back control of its bus services. This will then put the region in line with London and recently transferred back Manchester,

Only time will tell if this rush to take back control of buses is a success. I know our Mayor Andy Street is in no rush to take back control. But interesting to see other city regions going in a different direction.

Out of interest Carl, what is the cost of a bus day ticket for the Liverpool city region ?

To be honest I don't know off the top of my head. I know a savaway ticket is good value and ive bought them in the past because you can use them on buses trains and ferries. I think its a good thing for the city to control its transport, for example 2 or more bus companies on the same route, but tickets are not interchangeable, that's just confusing. Transport needs to in integrated in my view.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
