Financially we had absolutely nothing but I had two parents who would have given my sister and I the world if they'd had it. I know they sacrificed so much when we were young and went without to make sure that we had the most amazing childhood that we did.

Although it's been many years since they departed I still miss them both terribly and on what would have been my Mothers 75th birthday I would like to dedicate this song.

That sounds so like my upbringing. We too had such a happy home (yes, there was the occasional quarrel, but all was forgiven and forgotten the next day). I remember my parents insisting that we had enough to eat, when they obviously went without. We had so many happy times together.
Sadly, both of my parents have also passed away. I miss them so much.
