Totally forgot about that one. Hopefully at least one or two of these will actually come to fruition?

I was thinking of The Hub.

Oh that one. I had forgotten about that! Between us we may recall them all.

Their website in unavailable at the moment. What a contribution that would make if it was built.

Yesterday to avoid the M6 tailbacks a I was driving back from Wales, I cut through Wolverhampton to Birmingham City Centre.

We stopped at the lights at the base of the Octagon. Now I have to confess that it is a building which I have been pretty ambivalent about, sorry BrumX. But having seen it topped out (the clouds nearly touched the top) and close up, I was mightily impressed. An extra 10 floors would have sent me wild but alas...

What I did notice is the old Cambridge Street multi storey car parked wrapped in sheeting, I assume ready for demotion or demolition is underway so that the Octagons near twin, Centenary Tower.

One Eastside looks very powerful compared to the elegance of the Octagon.

It is about time someone did something with Five Ways Tower. Ridiculous.

I get up that often, but the city looked great despite the rain.

The Octagon ;-)

according to some people, you only need 1 day in each of the Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Lake District "to have seen it all". Which is why its minibus tour number 3 this year of the Yorkshire Dales for me on 16th October. Different routes and different things to see each tour.
Apologies for any issues today, I was planning on updating the site but sadly something went wrong so the upgrade has been postponed. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your kind donation to our running costs Jenny.
I've done 2 minibus tours with Mountain Goat this week. Monday was North York Moors with over 600 photos and today High Adventure in the Lakes with 750. photos. Slightly snap happy.
I've asked Gareth Southgate for the winning lottery numbers. He said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
