It is replacing the TCX flights which are needed and quite often get overlooked, I know in my neck of the woods
I really couldn`t tell you where we are upto but at least foreign operators are easier to track and I`m sure there will be more
and a lot of leased in aircraft

Red Sea Holidays and The Gambia Experience both moved quickly to secure the Enter Air flights showing the demand must be there.

It makes me wonder what will happen long term and whether TUi, or Jet2 even, may look at taking on the contract or if Enter Air or Titan will be back next winter.

New Birmingham flights to The Gambia

The Gambia Experience has successfully secured more flights to The Gambia this winter to meet demand and will operate a new direct Birmingham-Banjul route from December 18th until April 22nd, 2020.

Wednesday flights with convenient morning departure slots are now on sale with a wide range of holidays. Showcasing the best of The Gambia the tour operator’s Luxury, Unique and Classic accommodation collections include exclusive boutique hotels, spa resorts, family friendly all-inclusive resorts, safari and river lodges plus beachfront hotels and more.

Karen Durham, product manager for The Gambia Experience commented:
“We are delighted to announce the addition of a direct Birmingham route to our Gambia programme and just in time for the popular Christmas period. As the UK’s Gambia’s specialist for 32 years we have built up an extensive choice of holidays and experiences, reflecting the diversity of the destination and we look forward to welcoming holidaymakers from across the region.”

Tom Screen, Aviation Director of Birmingham Airport said:

“We are incredibly proud to again partner with the Gambia Experience, offering our customers the chance to visit this beautiful part of the world. This direct weekly flight from Birmingham gives customers the chance to immerse themselves in a beachfront holiday amongst stunning surroundings or enjoy a safari adventure. Either way, The Gambia Experience can ensure a wonderful long-haul holiday experience for our customers.”

Package, flight-only and tailormade holidays along with multi centres embracing wildlife and beach resorts plus neighbouring Senegal are offered, as well as group or private excursions to help visitors explore. New cruise holidays are also available this winter. Exploring the waterways of the River Gambia aboard the Harmony V Mega Yacht, guests can observe wildlife along the way. From beautiful birdlife to crocodiles, hippos, chimpanzees, monitor lizards and monkeys, The Gambia is brimming with incredible wildlife opportunities.

Holidays are fully ATOL protected and are priced from £699pp, based on seven-nights bed & breakfast at the Kombo Beach Hotel (Grade 3.5) which is situated on an unspoilt, golden sand beach within the resort of Kotu. This price includes Birmingham flights and hotel transfers.
