It has been officially announced that Flybe will be relaunch in 2020 as Virgin Connect

The Virgin Connect CEO has said that some domestic routes might be dropped because of environmental concerns, citing routes where the journey can be made easily by train or car.

Although this was published in a Birmingham newspaper and naturally concentrates on BHX, it appears to apply to all UK airports where Virgin Connect will have a presence.

The cynic in me wonders if it would apply to profitable domestic routes.

The new livery?

Virgin Connect (BE, Exeter) will evaluate adding larger aircraft to its fleet once its partnership with Virgin Atlantic (VS, London Heathrow) fully kicks in, Chief Executive Officer Mark Anderson told Air Transport World.
