I wonder if it brought the pax with it, or if they are now on a bus on the M62.KLM has just returned from Liverpool. Going off to Amsterdam in about half an hour.
Thanks. I bet they won't be too happy to find when they get to LBA that their aircraft has been back in before them. The passengers were bussed back to LBA and the plane came in empty.
Its not exactly a big aircraft that's likely to need all the runway though is it? It seems a bit odd for a relatively small aircraftThe problem for the KLM was the crosswind plus the wet runway. If the runway had have been dry he was ok to make the approach.
Does the angle of the crosswind alter the limit or does a 1 degree crosswind have the same crosswind limit as a 10 degree crosswind limit? Surely there must be a difference?Embraer 190 manufacturers crosswind limits are: DRY 39kts, WET 33kts both Take off and landing. Ironically the B737-800W limits are DRY 33 WET 25 for take off and DRY 33 WET 33 for landing. Its how Manufacturers certify the aircraft.
