Jet2 Boeing 737-800, G-JZHZ operating flight EXS63NW from Leeds to Dubrovnik is currently diverting to Zadar.

Also the Malaga flight G-GDFD returned to Malaga for some unknown reason (I presume tech) G-DRTI is about to land from Malaga replacing FD.

I looked at the Dubrovnik TAF and unless I overlooked something it looked good. The Dubrovnik arrivals board showed both the LBA and MAN LS flights running late (my assumption was both went to Zadar) other flights didnt seem to be affected.

When I looked at the time it showed as cloudy with slight winds. Aswell as being told weather related. An Austrian A320 also diverted to ZDR

Plenty of other aircraft got in around same time. Wonder if there was a temporary runway blockage or something.

Until mid afternoon Dubrovnik was suffering from a bura which is a northeasterly wind. Because of the proximity of the mountains it causes strong wind shear and rotors even with moderate winds. Fortunately it soon cleared yesterday but it can last for days.

Anyone know why? As of 2000 it still hasn't set off to LBA. Looks to be either now cancelled or awaiting an available aircraft. FR24 just shows it as Diverted to BHD.

Not sure why, but Jet2s LS478 due in this morning from Las Palma's at 0310, is delayed until 2155 tonight. So 18.75 hours behind schedule.

The aircraft operated the Funchal flight before Las Palmas and diverted enroute to FNC due to weather. It was delayed into LBA which caused the delay on the Las Palmas one. The Dubrovnik flight also diverted enroute down there and that plane landed at LBA around the same time as Funchal.

I presume due to the long delay that the crew overnighted in LPA and operated the flight this evening instead.

He has 45 minutes holding before he has to divert, however he needs 550m as he is only CAT 1 capable

The Emerald eventually diverted to Manchester after holding for 1 hour 20 minutes.
The Ryanair hung around until the weather cleared and landed
