Jet2holidays introduce "Vibe" for customers with millennial mindset

Introducing…Vibe by Jet2holidays!

We are announcing the brand-new Vibe by Jet2holidays today, which targets ‘millennial mindset’ holidaymakers who want to experience much more than a typical ‘18-30s’ holiday overseas.

Launching this week, VIBE by Jet2holidays, has been specifically crafted for the growing millennial market, an audience which is more about mindset than age or demographic.

Although this new proposition focuses on younger customers and millennials, it has been tailored to meet the demands of a broad audience which includes first-time holidaymakers, bucket listers, and the over-25s experience-driven market.

To meet this demand, VIBE by Jet2holidays groups an extensive collection of hotels across almost 50 resorts into four groups or ‘Vibes’, making it easier for customers and independent travel agents to choose. The four different Vibes encompass everything from iconic hotels and concept hotels with upmarket beach clubs, through to budget hotels in the heart of the clubbing capitals. The four vibes are:
  • Iconic VIBE: A collection of standout, world-renowned hotels such as Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Ibiza Rocks, Hard Rock Ibiza, BH Mallorca and Noa Glamping Resort.
  • Party VIBE: Great value hotels in the heart of the best party resorts, perfect for those looking for less of the frills but more of the thrills.
  • Pure VIBE: Staying in is the new going out with Pure Vibe, and this selection of hotels means that customers can enjoy pool parties, live performances and daytime DJs at their hotel.
  • Chilled VIBE: For luxury lovers, these hotels offer sophistication and exclusive extras, which are perfect for Insta and poolside lounging.
As well as creating an easy and smart booking option for customers and independent travel agents, VIBE offers all the award-winning package benefits of Jet2holidays. These benefits include our VIP customer service with award-winning Jet2.com flights, transfers to and from the airport and 2-5 star hotels included. Agents and customers also benefit from our industry-leading leading 22kg baggage allowance, and holidays of any duration to suit budgets and diaries, all for a low £60 per person deposit with part payment plans available too.



The launch of Vibe by Jet2holidays was announced today by Zoe Towers, Head of Product at Jet2holidays, at our annual VIP conference for independent travel agents which is taking place this week at the AR Diamante Beach & Spa in Calpe, Costa Blanca.

The launch of Vibe by Jet2holidays will be supported by an integrated campaign across TV, Video On Demand, radio, email, digital, and social media, with dedicated social media channels on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter (@Jet2Vibe for each channel).

In addition to a dedicated website which launches later this week (www.jet2holidays.com/vibe) and 76-page brochure, our award-winning Trade Team is also rolling out a dedicated programme to help independent travel agents understand and sell Vibe by Jet2holidays to customers. This includes promotional executives working over the winter to support agents, dedicated sessions on our Earn Your Wings training programme, webinars, trade emails, social media support, and branded merchandise.

Very similar to Club 18-30. Wasn't that a Thomas Cook brand. Jet2holidays must have thought there was a significant gap in the market to create a full brochure for the market. Good luck to them.

Not originally. The International Leisure Group (Intasun Holidays and Air Europe) acquired Club 18-30 from its then owners in the early 1980s but when ILG went bust in 1991 Club 18-30 passed through the hands of venture capitalists for a few years before finding its way into the Thomas Cook stable.

Club 18-30 holidays had something of a risque reputation.
