An interesting tactic from Loganair and not a route I was expecting to resume at EXT before other routes, especially after the collapse of Flybe. Is this route being supported by the Regional Air Connectivity Fund as was the case with Flybe?

Also, will the route be just summer only or all year round? Either way a convenient way for me to attend school reunions back in Norwich, without having to suffer rancid modern day plastic trains!

CAA stats show that in 2019 over 24,000 used the EXT-NWI route and in 2018 the figure was nearly 31,000, so there appears to be a substantial number of travellers prepared to use it.

From what you say you are familiar with the journey from the South West to Norwich. I've only ever visited Norwich twice, the first time was in the 1960s in connection with my occupation when I travelled by train and the second was a couple of years ago when my wife and I drove there from Bristol to begin a holiday. Had we not needed the car in East Anglia we might have made the hour's drive to EXT and flown. EXT is relatively easy to reach from the southern side of Bristol where we live.

Thanks and acknowledgement to jfy1999 for the below information posted in the Loganair Airline thread.

Exeter-Norwich will double in frequency to 4 x weekly this summer.

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
