Just a point to note as I don't think everyone understands that everything on here in the public forum is indexed by Google. This means everything within the forum is publicly available and in the public domain. This does not apply to our forums that are Private or to Conversations which can under most normal circumstances be regarded as private or semi private (not in the public domain).

If anybody wants information they post to the forums to be semi private ie. for (registered members only), first, avoid using actual names so if people are searching for their name on Google they wont find it here. Use initials of people you refer to rather than using actual names. You can also use BBCode spoilers (in the posting options) this enables you to hide information from members of the public who aren't registered with us. Members must remember than any member of the public can register to join our forums subject to the forum Terms of Service.

If we can fully validate your identity we maybe able to allow you access to private forums that are not in the public domain, subject to our TOS and privacy policies.

As a wonderful resource, Google has given me, and us all access to all kinds of information that is not Classified. But it is also incideous by getting into areas we seek to keep private. I was traced by a tracing company that claimed Google as a fount of clues and they found me despite efforts to protect myself because of past employment and Irish background.

Being tracked down proved to be of no benefit to those persons behind the search!

FYI: "Spoilers" do not limit content from being viewed, it is just temporarily hidden from view automatically by some clever CSS and/or Javascript so users have to click a button, link, or content to be able to view said contents. Crawlers such as Google can still pick up the contents as plain text if posted within a public forum ;)

I've added a link to Postimages.org as an alternative option for posting images here on Forums4airports. You can continue to post images with us but for prolific posters who love to share lots of images, this might be a better option for you.
All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
