Im flying KLM from Humberside at the end of this month and wondering if they are they still serving dry biscuits and water for a snack on their mid morning flight which was the case last time i flew the route.

I've asked one of our members in the Cardiff section what snacks were served on his recent CWL-AMS Cityhopper flight in case we have no-one with recent experience of HUY-AMS with KLM. I'll let you know what he says.

Recently flew from CWL. Drinks were water, soft drinks, tea or coffee. Not sure but I think the carts in the afternoon flight have beer and alcohol as well. Snacks was a sandwich or a wrap. Hope that helps!

Just returned from flying with KLM to Bangkok from Humberside. The Humberside staff as normal were friendly and helpful. Since my last trip from the airport the toilets, duty free and departure lounge have all been upgraded.
Both the outbound and inbound flights from/to Humberside were around 75% full and they were serving hot drinks

My mistake I was only looking at the weekend flights which are the ones I normally use when I do fly from Humberside

I’d like to think they’ll go back to 3 x daily before too long.

It has taken a long time, but capacity at Humberside has been increasing recently with three flights daily on most weekdays. Yesterday, Saturday, there were only two arrivals but one was the first visit of an E295.
Today's capacity is remarkably high considering that business travel is said to be depressed and the school holidays have not yet started. Instead of the scheduled three E175's, there is an E175, an E190 and an E295.

Certainly very encouraging and long may it continue! Hopefully a sign of commitment to the route and to Humberside. They’ve been out marketing with Humberside Airport Travel at various events in the region recently.

As I’ve also mentioned on the Teesside sub forum - KLM are to wet lease 2 x ejets from Eastern Airways to operate from MME and HUY on their behalf.

Appreciate KLM have had capacity and reliability issues of late, but this I feel will just exacerbate the issue. An example of managed decline in practice?

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
