The long awaited updates mentioned above will be taking place over the coming week or so. Nows your last chance to have your say before the changes go live. Please read the content of the full thread if you are not familiar with these changes.

The post reaction options have been changed.

Like now displays as Thanks
We frequently see people saying "I've liked your post for the information not for the content you provide us", so hopefully this change will more suit our content.

Love now displays as Great
Again, for the type of content we have the word great better suits the forum than the word love. Although love does work sometimes, the emotion better suits the word great.

LOL now displays as Funny
When people say LOL I always feel it is a little bit childish or potentially patronising if used incorrectly so I'm hopeful this change will better suit the forum.

WOW has become OMG
Minor change but better suits the emotion.

Sad has become Unhappy
A similar meaning but the word unhappy better suits the forum.

Angry is now Disappointed
I have felt this has needed changing for a long time. The word angry is a very strong word for the type of friendly content we generally seek. The word disappointed tones down an angry post and makes it less confrontational.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

If you’re tired of takeoffs, you’re tired of life.
49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
