Slowly adding capacity again which is good. S25 looks to be a roll over, hopefully more rotations will be added like S24/W24

Well I think we can rule out a Wizz Air base at LBA for now. As they will be limiting growth and concentrating on Central and Eastern Europe. On UK there will be no new bases as a result of softening demand but there could be some additional routes.

And as @White Heather says they will also be ending the costly wet leases.

After their dire attempt at CWL & DSA, I wouldn't expect to see another UK base for some time. Any growth will no doubt be LGW/LTN focused. I wouldn't of been surprised to see BHX a base, but with EZY/FR/LS going big there, maybe not & now only 3 routes, less likely. Always thought LPL would of been a likely contender.

Hopefully they can add some more UK routes soon. I would be keen to see KTW re-added & as usual, VNO would be a good new choice.

You can see why Wizz Air are short of aircraft in this video with all the Airbus A320/A321Neo's parked up at Bydgoszcz Airport.

Lets just hope once the engine issues have been resolved we see some of the lost routes return to LBA.

Even RR are having problems with their latest generation engines. It seems that engine manufacturers are right on the edge of technology to produce more and more sophisticated, efficient and environmentally friendly engines demanded by the airlines, the public and Governments but this seems to come are the cost of increasing unreliability and lower durability. No doubt these problems will be ironed out over time but in the meantime it’s costing the manufacturers a fortune in rectifying the defects and compensating the airlines.

I see this mornings Wizz from Bucharest landed at 05:46, seems very early but presunably it (A321 CEO) must be quiet enough to be permitted.
It's absolutely no different to a Jet2 738 landing at 0400. Just another one to count against the seasonal night movement limit although had it been a NEO then LBA would take the view it doesn't count.

It was due at 06:20 so in the night period. had a night slot and landed early. So no different to Jet2 in the early hours.

also the extra CLJ started last week on a WED now seeing the 321 NEO in on the extra rotation. good to see larger AC used for CLJ also.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 2nd time
