Yet they still have average delays not that much better than us.Teesside and Exeter don't have many flights so they should be very few delays.
The media make out to be the airport's fault. They do with all the airports when in fact it's often other factors such as strike action or ATC which are beyond the control of the airports or airlines.Yet they still have average delays not that much better than us.
Which explains why the likes of Exeter and Teeside with their relatively small number of flights are still on a par with LBA when it comes to delays. The media make out to be the airport's fault. I posted a reply to this which was less than complementary about the YEP, but thought better if it and deleted it. I wasn't up for a slanging match with pro DSA lunatics who waste no opportunity to slag off Yorkshire's only successful airport. As for the YEP and it's standards of so called journalism, and it's anti LBA slant on everything, all I will say is that a good paper from the past is now a total joke.I see the YEP are at it again ā
Leeds Bradford Airport: Ryanair flight to Lawica, Poland named as most delayed out of UK
the comments in the YEPs social media page are laughable. Apparently DSA is the answer - they seem to forget when it was open their average delay was higher then LBA - I suspect mostly down to the high proportion of WiZZ flightsā¦.
PoznanWhere is Lawica in Poland - I've never heard of it nor seen on LBA Departure/Arrivals boards?
The route that is not currently on sale for next winter!Where is Lawica in Poland - I've never heard of it nor seen on LBA Departure/Arrivals boards?
Move then. effing idiots. get a life. no time for that BS..Yorkshire Post with another brilliant piece, with locals complaining about flights leaving at... *checks notes*... 6am? Is this really where we're at now?

Ah, what a shame. Poor man can't sleep way over in Adel because those horrid planes take off at 6am. Which of course they are perfectly entitled to do up to 4000 times per year technically speaking. Not sure where he gets the idea it's illegal or that the airport are being fined by the Council. They aren't.Yorkshire Post with another brilliant piece, with locals complaining about flights leaving at... *checks notes*... 6am? Is this really where we're at now?

I suspect the day in question they were taking off on 14, as opposed to the usual 32, hence he had his beauty sleep disturbed. (He had his windows closed and ear plugs in, so suspect he is a light sleeper or has sleep issues?)Ah, what a shame. Poor man can't sleep way over in Adel because those horrid planes take off at 6am. My suggestion to him would be to either buy sound deadening headphones for bed, or better still, just do one, and stop wittering. Absolutely pathetic .

Adel is a couple of miles East of the 14 climb out and it's never really noisy there. People who think the world revolves around them and their desires just do my head in.I suspect the day in question they were taking off on 14, as opposed to the usual 32, hence he had his beauty sleep disturbed. I really hope he isn't planning on sleeping in tomorrow morning given there are 8 departures scheduled before 0700. Probably off 32 so nowhere near Adel but the guy clearly has very keen hearing so his day may still be ruined. Is he alright. I live around the same place and cannot hear a peep. Another deluded climate change activist.
As you say - get ear plugs or move. Really is simple. Stupid idiot.
Clearly trying to ādrumā up support to stop the ālobesā of early morning departures!I really hope he isn't planning on sleeping in tomorrow morning given there are 8 departures scheduled before 0700.
