Yes I thought that. His club is the other side of Switzerland but he's from Lausanne near Geneva. And his club are playing in Turkey tonight so may well have to fly back into Geneva where his private jet will be waiting.
The mystery though is the flight in from Cologne. Leeds were after Dejan Ljubicic who plays for FC Koln but seemed to have given up. Now, on deadline day, there's a flight inbound . May be nothing or the deal may have been done at the 11th hour.

Hmm. The fight from Geneva appears to have been cancelled. No longer visible. Meanwhile, Schmidt has scored tonight for St Gallen.

Time yet for a new flight to be scheduled. After all, Tanaka's flight wasn't scheduled at all until this morning. Given he's travelling from the Black Sea city of Trabzpon they may have come up with an alternative. Let's hope so.

We have a Royal Air Force (XXXII Royal Squadron) Falcon 900 (Envoy) due to visit LBA tomorrow early afternoon.

It’s coming in with a “KITTYHAWK” callsign before positioning out on the “ASCOT” callsign, so it must be bringing in somebody VVIP.

KRF078 - ETA 13:10 from Glasgow
RRR1178 - ETD 14:10 to RAF Northolt
 
Seemed to have been an exceptionally busy weekend with Bizz Jets - Multiflight apron must have been pretty crowded. Scheduled to arrive in 20 minutes or so an Argentinian registered Gulf 5 all the way from Asuncion, Paraguay after a 13 hour bladder buster!
