So this has been extended into December and the New Year now, personally considering restrictions at Schipol i'd expect that it'll be extended into January, February and March.
This has been extended up too the end of March now. Only thinking out loud but i wonder if we could see this schedule continue into the summer if the restrictions at Schipol continue and could Air France to CDG be a possibility to fill in the lost mid morning arrival and departure for Skyteam connections and obviously give CWL a link too Paris. They recently just increased frequencies at some UK airports and i believe some of the Hop! flights have been replaced with mainline flights.

Looking forward at KLM and for February and March KLM will be 13 weekly with an 06.00 and 17.10 departure the morning departure is down to be an E190 along with the Sunday evening departure. Other flights are an E175. Looking at April it looks like that 3 daily returns on some days but with no overnighting aircraft on some so i'd say it might not be finalised.

A bit of something positive looking at KLM and the default has increased too 21 weekly flights with an overnight on Saturdays now. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday are all E190 days. In total there will be 16 E190 weekly departures and 5 E175 weekly departures. That would be 4080 weekly seats in total. If the schedule doesn't change (fingers crossed) then hopefully that will mean Amsterdam might get back too pre pandemic levels.

Looks like KLM have changed the times for KL1069 to a later time, it will depart AMS 22.40 arrive CWL 23.00.

Missed this yesterday but according to FR24 the 09.45 departure was an E195-E2 PH-NXJ. I'm guessing the extra boost in seats was for football fans travelling too Turkey yesterday.

KLM winter 2023/24 looks too be 20 weekly departures with 13 E175 departures and 7 E190 departures, the evening departure.
KLM summer 2024 looks too be 20 weekly departures with 11 E175 departures and 9 E190 departures, the mid morning departure and on Tuesdays and Fridays also the 06.05 departure.

Looking at flightradar24.com at it looks like tomorrow's 09.45 AMS departure will be operated by German Airways.

Used KLM into Cardiff earlier this evening for the first time in a while, the flight was nearly full about 80 passengers with i'd say roughly 15 using them to return from the World Cup in France.

Looking at KLM for Summer 2024 and at the moment it looks like Amsterdam will be 21 weekly departures, 3 daily. 14 E175, 7 E190 departures.

Nice to see Cardiff using it's latest news section to advertise Christmas Market breaks with KLM.
Europe's best Christmas markets

It looks like Luxair operated today's KLM 17.25 departure.

CWL just can't catch a break.
Looks like KLM are cutting the overnight aircraft and Amsterdam will go from 21 weekly to 14 weekly with no 06.05 departure.

It's from April.

It looks as though this may have been caused by the Schiphol slot problem, which is particularly acute during the summer months. It seems as though the Cardiff nightstopper is bookable again when the winter timetable comes into operation.
The other problem of aircraft availability is being alleviated by wet-leasing two Eastern Airways E190 aircraft to cover two destinations. This has been discussed on the Teesside pages.

Yet it seems Cardiff is the only UK small regional airport to get it's night stopping aircraft cut from what I can see.
Inverness, Teesside, Aberdeen, Humberside and Norwich have all kept their overnighting aircraft. It's not even being complemented by an extra service later in the day unfortunately.

Regardless if this is a tempoary issue or something will be reuploaded ( I hope to god it is ) this is a disaster, it’s the last thing the airport needs alongside the fact the QR return hasn’t manifested into anything for connections, This for me was one of the jewel in the crown services that couldn’t be touched, I know of a few businesses and indviduals that use the early service to AMS which I have used myself on occasions and a lot of these will now head to BRS for the early flight there or even use EZY on certain days, I’m usually pretty supportive of the airport but right now I’ve got to be honest I don’t think it has a positive future, this thread isn’t the right place for a lot of the things to say, but it’s sad to see what has become of the place, S24 looks to be worse than S23 and that is hugely alarming

Personally I was hoping that S24 would be a base for the airport to grow again and that KLMs Amsterdam route would start to look to return to go back to at least 2 daily E190s and 1 E175 and eventually 3 E190s. Not having 3 daily flights is a blow connectivity wise and as you say many will just head over the border which will then mean they potentially don't return via Cardiff either.

Also as someone else mentioned elsewhere it means a hotel in Cardiff loses the business of the crew staying there every night.

That’s a massive disappointment and yes a disaster if anything. I don’t understand why it’s always Cardiff that’s first to have flights cut.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
