London Luton Airport (LLA) is set to offer passengers another exciting new dining option following the arrival of Indian street-food specialist, Chaiiwala.
With the LLA terminal already offering a wide range of dining options to cater to the diverse palates of passengers, the arrival of Chaiiwala’s authentic Indian menu further extends the range of global cuisine now available across the airport.

The new 1,500sq ft, 30-seat restaurant at LLA marks Chaiiwala’s airport debut and provides passengers with the option to dine in or choose from a mouthwatering selection of ‘grab-and-go’ items including a travel tiffin box introduced exclusively for the LLA launch.

The new café features the full Chaiiwala menu along with additional treats and snack options. Signature items include Karak Chaii, Caramel Chaii, English-Ish Breakfast, Masala Chips and the ever-popular Karachi Bun Kebab.

The launch of the restaurant has created 40 new jobs and is part of Chaiiwala’s expansion plan targeting leading travel hubs.

Jonathan Rayner, London Luton Airport Chief Commercial Officer, commented: “Chaiiwala arrives at LLA having built a strong reputation and following for its fusion of authentic Indian street food with a Western twist. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have been chosen as Chaiiwala’s first airport partner and the addition of this restaurant ahead of the summer highlights our focus on providing new and exciting dining options and even greater choice as part of our simple and friendly passenger experience.”

Muhummed Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer at Chaiiwala, commented: “We are excited to explore an exciting new territory for Chaiiwala and its fans. This will be the first time any food brand will be offering dedicated Indian street food in an airport setting so naturally we are really excited to get going at London Luton Airport. We are confident that our colourful and bursting-with-flavour menu items caters for all taste buds and will be a hit with new and existing customers. Making our debut at an airport also matches our ambitions perfectly as a young dynamic brand giving our customers the Chaiiwala experience wherever they are. This new store at LLA will help Chaiiwala extend our footprint nationally and internationally and it is a major part of our strategic vision.”

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
