U know that’s a superb question and great idea for the route development team to assess. If I’m correct there were was rumours of a potential airline operating La palma.

I seem to recall the majority of seats sold were for a specialist tour operator? Or am I getting mixed up with another route? Either way it operated for several years so I’d have thought there might be scope for at least a one weekly flight during the summer months.

Jet2 and Air Transat have confirmed an interline agreement
Which means you can connect from 1 airline to another airline from another airport.

The 1 stop is Faro Malaga,Barcelona ,Porto,Rome,Nice

Nice addition. I wouldn't be surprised to see more loco and IT operators use it in the future as an alternative to NAP.

Flight only prices look quite reasonable but the holidays section only has one choice of accommodation available at the moment. One to keep an eye on.

Jet2 have repeatedly said they are not interested in long haul and even if they did it almost certainly would be from MAN, any A330s they used are leased from Air Tanker.

Jet2 have created a excellent place in the market........ if it ain't broke don't fix it in my view.

So your saying they wouldn’t enter the Egyptian,Tunisian or Cape Verde market?

Jet2 are doing fine with their gradual expansion southwards. They will not enter the risky Long Haul market for the foreseeable.
Laker Airways expanded too fast and was destroyed by BA in particular all those years ago.
Get all your bricks in place before reaching too far!.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
