I would seem that this has gone unnoticed.

The owners of the Leeds Bradford Airport Premier Inn Hotel in Yeadon have applied to Leeds City Council for planning permission to demolish the existing hotel restaurant (Beef Eater) and replacement with new building providing additional hotel bedrooms and breakfast rooms.

Saw that a couple of weeks ago. It's one of quite a few where they are doing the same thing, because they make more profit out of hotel rooms than restaurants. Similar closures occurred all over the country, many on the same day.

At least there's a chippy over the road for hungry hotel guests.

And a very good chippy it is.

I believe they will be serving breakfasts though.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 2nd time
