I've just been on the Iberia Web site looking at booking Alicante to Manchester in mid November. The LCC fares are way too high on the date I want to travel. It appears that Iberia will be operating Madrid to Manchester during the forthcoming winter. Came in at a decent price too.

There are no flights to either Bristol,Glasgow or Edinburgh from Manchester and haven't been since Covid.

Apparently so. I've seen a couple of You Tube items. From turning off the runway at Manchester too getting off the bus at the domestic terminal took longer than the flight from LHR. Passengers not impressed.

Just read on Simple Flying that Air Canada will be flying the Toronto - Manchester-Toronto route during winter 2026-2027 staring on the 25th October four times a week using the 182 seater A321XLR. If true this is good news that we will have another flight going west.

Looks like Biman are pulling out of Manchester with effect from March 1st according to Aero Routes.

According to Aero Routes, Centrum Air from Uzbekistan will be commencing Tashkent to Manchester flights twice weekly from the 30th March.

Thanks for the report. I am surprised that a rail company such as West Midland Trains or London North Western haven't had a service to the Airport before. Although the areas north of the airport and North Wales are reasonably well served services to the south of the region are poorly served...

I may be wrong but I recall reading somewhere that the Manchester flights would refuel at Trabzon.
