Flew back into LBA in the early hours of Saturday morning during storm Amy. Noticed that jet2 aircraft were parked backwards on the apron (tail facing the terminal) whilst other airlines were parked the conventional way. Is this normal procedure? Never noticed this at any other airport.

With the news today that DSA will reopen sooner rather than later this strikes me as a perfect opportunity for Jet2. A complete blank canvas, Jet2 could strike a deal with the councils that will be operating the airport, get in there before anyone else, and make it their home. Moving the home...
