Well... there's no parking :) but the on the side of the road there's plenty of space so you can park without blocking the way. Plenty of cars were there from the spotters to dog walkers. Let me know when you will be going that way, maybe I will be able to join you :drinks: Seasider ... does...

Thanks, I am not very good at locations around airport so I will try to describe :D I parked up at Diseworth road and walked down the muddy trail past the wreck for firefighters. There's what looks like unused crashgate and that's where I was. I found that there is quite alive group of spotters...

Thanks guys, the weather is effectively killing any will to go out with camera. Driving by the airport today I spotted the Antonov parked up. Does anyone know when is it due to depart ?

Hey :D I was gone for about a year ... but now with new gear I am going to slowly be back at photographing planes. I think I saw a few pics of the cargo planes parked up, literally photo looks like taken by someone standing next to the fence. Kind of cool Idea BUT would the security pick up on...

cheers lads, I just quickly checked that viewing spot near aeropark. Could someone say a word or two if it's worth going to the aeropark itself ? I'm not interested in display there (or maybe will :D ) but I'm wondering what's the view from there ? I want to catch the 'touchdown' or the moment...

Alright lads (and ladies if we have some on board :rose: ), I need to source your knowledge one more time. I am working very close to the airport (Sutton Bonington) and can see most planes on approach from the office window. I must say that there are frequently flights of large 4 rotor engines...

Have you seen a huge 'BYE BYE LATEHANSA' written on the ryanair planes ? I was for a while at the usual viewing spot at EMA and spotted that on one of arriving planes, hilarious :)
