My experience with the Flybe Heathrow service & the problems... sorry its a big read
Flew to LHR last week, security line was back to hall B but staff remain pro-active in pulling people from the line with imminent departures.
Flybe customers get fast track but this is not very well...

That makes it even worse then, paying a company for nothing by the looks of it. There is still no full press release from the airport about either route on any platform yet another 24 hours later.
 As if by magic 10 minutes after this post... something appears on Fbook, but they just shared a link to an article from the T&A, that well respected and always accurate media outlet. Can they not even be bothered to put out their own Press Release? :cautious:
Does LBA have a marketing team?
In the last 48 hours, both BA & Easy have put flights on sale to BHD/BFS - there is zero mention on LBA fbook or website as at 1220 today. That's 2 new carriers serving the airport, one maintaining a key route & the other launching a new one.
I would be shouting...
The Dutch Government lifted the flight ban for the UK as of 00:01 09MAR. Ferry passenger ban was also lifted and haulage drivers no longer need a test to enter the Netherlands.
Unexpectedly, noise coming out of the Netherlands is that the block on flights from the UK is to be lifted in the next 24 hours. Reason given is that the UK strain is now dominant across Holland and so the continuation of blocking UK traffic serves no purpose. Restrictions on ferry passengers is...
Confirmed by friends in the company,

Unavoidable redundancy for Cabin Crew and re-basing/fleeting options for...
Flew the shuttle to LHR last week on Tuesday and returned Saturday with onward connection to ATH.
Got to fly on the 767 probably for the last time with BA so that was nice, the LBA leg was probably 70% loaded going and then I think full on the return with the business divider several rows back...
The MAX features yet another updated winglet design dubbed "Advanced Technology Winglet" developed by Boeing so not scimitar.
NG is available with AP Blended winglet (factory standard) or scimitar as an alternative.
757 is also now available with a scimitar upper fin.
The doors on the main terminal front are deliberately set with alternate sets not in use at the moment as a new air curtain is to be installed so that people in the vicinity of those doors including the staff at the new welcome desk are not constantly exposed to the elements with them opening...
TCX don't have the capacity to operate the program they announced - in reality. They are spreading themselves quite thin as it is. They needed an A320 for the LBA base and couldn't come up with one or an in house A321 to take on the full program. The solution is to scale back and operate...
Deeply saddening day.
I have many friends who worked at Monarch, including people who recently got made redundant from KLM who went to Monarch - imagine how they feel right now.
No doubt the capacity will be filled in time - with the right business model that capacity could make money and I...
