Just returned from Malta and I was staggered at the amount of new hotels being built up at St Julians at least four under construction including a 400 room Hard Rock Hotel due to open this summer.
The island for food , drink and taxis is very cheap and would appeal to the Welsh pocket ...
Probably nothing in this but my company had an invite from Emirates to send a proposal for catering services, we are Cardiff based and have never received anything like this before . It is genuine as the Vendor Procurement offices name is correct and the e mail address stcks up . Fingers...
This approximates to 8 flights daily throughout the winter, somewhere along the line questions have to be asked by the taxpayers whether propping up the airport is a worthwhile use of ever scarce budget money.
There seems to be a conflict of interests between the climate concious in the...
Per the upcoming Swansea Air show,, as the Red Arrows and Memorial Flight are flying both days will there be a chance of one or both overnighting in CWL ?
This is not going to help attract any future business or airlines. The Welsh Government have shown their hand here, even if they try and offload the airport, it will be not be attractive to any possible purchasers as the policy is to hammer aviation in Wales.

If Wales were independent there would have been no furlough payments, Mr Drakeford admitted this.
The consequences would have been horrendous. Wales and Scotland need the economic clout of the union.
Apparently a great place to go ski-ing , very very reasonable for accommodation, passes and food and beer.
Would love to see them organise a couple of flights to test the water.
