That's to even say they'll launch it from BHX. Some of the last few route launches have bypassed BHX eg Strasbourg and La Palma. Instead of adding a Midlands or Scottish airport to La Palma, Jet2 then add Gatwick. So two London airports.......

It only ever seems to involve London or Northern airports......and as per....it's new routes from BA....ie London Airways

QR to restart services to BHX from the 18th March at 4 weekly. 787-8 will be used.

However I would definitely use a LHR service. Did once many years ago with BD on a DC9. Quick up n down and you're there. Would never happen now but if it ever did....I would use it for sure 👌👌👌

..and on a side note Britannia has mechanical issues and instead of going to St Lucia, has instead gone back to Barbados to be fixed. Arvia has to leave Barbados now half empty to make way for Britannia....which is docking imminently 🙏
