Wow…I’ve never seen Pier C like this before! Surprisingly looks much bigger with those glass panels gone! New flooring too which is good to see.
Now to get those airbridge’s scrubbed!
Am I right in saying the only toilets available are down a set of stairs near gate 28?
Thanks as always for your valuable info, much appreciated.
You mentioned a while ago stands 309/310 potential coming into use for the summer period, is this still the case?
So ex T1 duty free is closed, is this permanent? Can we expect a new permanent shorter walking route through to T3...

Found this article from 2024, unsure if the airlines mentioned still offer the flight connections.
It’s been reported over on the Skyscraper City forum that yesterday evening an airbridge collapsed on Pier 2 with potential damage to a Jet2 aircraft.
Anyone have any news or even photo’s? I can’t find anything on social media.
Arrived at MAN T3 yesterday at midday for a flight to Dublin. I only had hand luggage so straight into security and through in 2-3 mins and without a bag rejection! :) Walked through into the southern front and noticed some glass partitions now next to gates 36 & 37 but these gates are not yet...
Most of the road I walked along (World Way?) had barriers along it so only right at the top were taxis allowed to park where the double yellow lines had ended.
Took the 313 bus from the airport station to the world freight terminal yesterday to walk onto the viewing park, I had to walk past the new Swissport building en route and noticed there are still barriers in place at the entrance with no vehicles in the car park. The majority of the buildings in...
The T2 Wetherspoons pub is opening around June/July, this was always the case.
There’s other areas of the terminal that need finishing or some TLC first!
Arrived last night on the KLM flight from Amsterdam at 9.50pm, during taxi in I noticed a Ryanair parked on stand 47 at T3 so this stand is now back open and operational, good news.
On our stand at T2 (307L) by 9.55pm, upon entering the legacy pier I was very surprised to see two travellator’s...
Thanks for the info @Scottie Dog
Stands 16, 17 & 47 look set to reopen before the peak summer period so just in time for the additional aircraft.
This should mean that now all Ryanair aircraft will be parked at T3 stands instead of using some remote stands next to the hangers.
Yes, I accept that. I’m certainly not arguing just stating that it has improved since the new dual taxiway system is in place.
I will be experiencing this process in June when I arrive on a shuttle service for the first time in T2. I just hope the new arrivals route is in place by then!
OK, then maybe I misunderstood you. But, yes the taxi times have increased but like I said, with the new dual taxiway system in place now it shouldn’t normally be much longer than previously when BA and Loganair were in T3.
