Back in the office after the trial, phew, definitely got my 10k steps in! My initial thoughts: It is one huge huge site, from the T2 extension, MSCP, to the link and Pier, it really is one mahoosive site! £1mil being spent per day apparently! Pier is impressive, were not talking Changi levels...

Seemingly, after the police started re-directing taxis down the M56 spur away from the airport the taxis are now doing a slow moving roadblock down the M56 spur!

I see the road system, from what I can see on the Manchester side of the 4M Building is locked up, so the airport spur and the area in front of Voyager. Lots of taxis, a few with Unite flags!

From our office, can also see the road linking the existing long stay and new (free) drop off car park, from the main roundabout over the M56 spur, Is packed with cars parked along it.Cant imagine it will be long until double yellow lines appear along it!

The cab rank and pick up area out front of the station is deserted today, I did wonder why!
