Well after a lovely short trip to Spain, I have to say our little airport impressed me again.
Some may say easily pleased, others would say an efficient airport.
I landed from Malaga at 1421, buses were waiting to transport us to the terminal. Straight up the stairs, through immigration and...
Just a quick note before I jet off to sunny Malaga for a few days away, got the A1 flyer to the Airport this morning, arrived at 05:36.
From getting off the bus, airport check-in, through security and in departures in 14 minutes. Have to say I am very impressed, especially in the height of the...
After many weeks of browsing, I finally booked 5 days away in Cyprus with Jet2 holidays.
So last Saturday, 20th May, I boarded the A1 flyer service up to Leeds Bradford Airport for the 15:55 LS405 departure to Paphos.
Upon arriving at check-in hall B, there was a positive excitable atmosphere...
I have to add my opinion on a few of your afore mentioned points.
Just because someone drinks Stella doesn’t make them a lager lout. I’m quite partial to a pint of Belgiums finest, and in no way am I a lout!
Your other ‘good’ points I agree with.
For your bad points, I have to ask how much...
Further to my post a few weeks ago, I’ve just returned from Pakistan this morning.
There still is no sign of any advertising in Islamabad Airport or surrounding area. None of the staff in the hotel, our airport station manager or the Dnata ground staff were aware of a new airline starting...
I was in Islamabad a couple of weeks ago, and there was no sign of any advertising of IPS Airways. Even the ground staff had never heard of them.
I’m back in Pakistan next week, so I’ll keep my eyes peeled to see if there’s any advertising around.
Having not flown, well on holiday, for a while, I jumped on the bandwagon and flew to Majorca last Wednesday for a week, returning today. The outbound flight was at 0930. Jet2 were very welcoming and well organised up in hall B. Passengers weren’t allowed to join the queuing system until their...
Some of these objectors are absolutely infuriating. They need a good shake and word with themselves. I bet they’ll be some of the first to book a holiday abroad after this pandemic passes!
Yes I saw this evenings Look North.
Like you say, Harry described it as Welcome Good News, which indeed it is.
All focusing on the positive aspects from this story with the creation of 36 local jobs, 300 supply chain jobs and the opportunity to drive economic recovery.
Totally agree with you...
This is a quote from the British Airways website: "When travelling wholly within the UK, there is no requirement from British Airways to carry any photographic identification."
Personally, I'd still have my driving license with me in my wallet though. Have a good trip :)
Re: Leeds Bradford Infrastructure & Developments
I agree with you at times there can be a bit of a wait at immigration however the majority of the time I think that passengers are processed in a reasonable time. Understandably, there will be times when the queue can get quite long and the time...
Not trying to be funny, but what is the difference between the aircraft steps and these in the airport? If they can manage one set, then they can manage another. For folk that struggle, I believe there is a lift they could use there.
Don't mind at all Seasider, we're all here to discuss and share info.
Yes Aviador, the previous separate Joint Services Agreement with British Airways ends officially on the 31st March 2013. This is the end to a 15-year partnership between the two carriers. However, both airlines will still...
