Guernsey- Jersey - Teesside - Jersey - Guernsey
The set up for DSA is doomed.
Private Investors saying that due to the Lease option the Council took on means it is very hard to make case for investing in buildings as it would be a long chain of sub leases which then becomes a minefield. As Peel (Owner)- CDC (Leaseholder) - FlyDoncaster (sub...

But would this be a viable option. The rents and amount of traffic wouldn't come anywhere close enough to cover the £3m lease payments per year to Peel.
The Lease payments is what will be the main stumbling blocks. Then add to the mix operational overheads.

It was only the 727's & Coastguard fleets that were at DSA plus the office.
What the talk has been that they will want to bring up their MRO operation from Lasham plus the defence operation. So that would give them a bigger operation at DSA than previously was, thus would bring in greater...
2Excel have said they would want to centralise everything at Finningley. So will that mean them moving operations up from Lasham. So that would be the MRO facility the Mayors have talked about.
Logically I can see 2Excel bringing all their aircraft such as the 727's and Coastguard light...
No one has said that Teesside is a success story (please tell me where that has been said). People have said that it has turned itself around.
From 19th February 2019 to 31st March 2024 the airport has paid TVCA £6,271,583 in interest on the loans.
There is more than just Airbourne at...
Speedbird1 I think you will Qing4theloo said: "The first assumption is that if Peel couldn't make it work, nobody can. cf Tees-side Airport, which is recovering quite nicely thank you since Peel sold it."
Doesn't say that Teesside is profitable, has only said that Teesside is recovering quite...
Have you watched the Yorkshire Post interview on 27th August. Just over 3 minutes into it when asked about the 9th September date.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16HUZt5Juy/
Coppard "We have got it in for a key decision on the 9th September, that's not to say it will definitely happen on...
The jist from what I'm getting from comments that Coppard has made this past month or so is.
The Business Plan that CDC put together had included other stuff unrelated to the direct Lease Zone. This meant it put all the figures out by a considerable margin. (This is due to Coppard saying he is...
Quite telling that beginning of the YP Q&A session. Coppard says there is no guarantee that the decision will be made on September 9th, it could be made at a further date. So he is opening the door to a decision being pushed to later in the year or even into next year.
Plus other comments he...
Hop aren't operating to the UK flights. Has anyone tried looking on KLM's website.
I have looked for Tuesday 11th November.
KLM Hop (just looked at French Airports)
Bordeaux (3 out of 4 flights), Lyon (3 out of 4 flights), Nantes (3 out of 3 flights) & Toulouse (3 out of 3 flights).
KLM...
It certainly was made available to the public, it was released on the TVCA website at the time. Both the Business Case for Purchase, Airport Business Plan and Property Consultants Report. 225 pages altogether, with redactions.
If I remember last year for Teesside on KLM website. It was showing KLMCH metals for the Winter Timetable. Only changing to Eastern metals I think during September time. So I think there is still time for it to change on the website. So I would probably expect the same sort of thing to happen...
