The Manchester jinx strikes again. The only main uk airport to have fog this morning (a few others did in the night) until about 10.30 and it coincides with airfield works that means many arrivals on 23R have to back-track. ATC are going to have their work cut out the next few weeks.

You'll notice that SPD Travels posted it because it had already leaked and was common knowledge around the airport. Hopefully, it will be confirmed as soon as possible now.

It's a heck of a difference in movements between Friday/Sat/Mon and Tues/Wed. I imagine the ski flights account for a fair proportion. Jet 2 for example had 48 movements on Saturday but only 6 & 8 on Tuesday / Wednesday.

I'm being more cautious at 29.0 - 29.5m which still requires an increase of between 3% and 4.8%. S24 doesn't look all that exciting at present and that accounts for 30 -31 weeks of the year when passenger numbers are at their highest.
