    Random Stuff!

Would not say hooked.Just a Brummie interested in the changing face of the city centre whilst rather despairing of the face of some other areas. Interesting that the building projects that seem to be moving forward at speed involve no input from from Bham City Council once planning permission...

Thanks Brum X. Their are so many local news reports these days of new buildings it can be confusing as to which sites have actually seen a shovel and which are still just proposals..

The Police have admitted what they are doing, blocking a public highway, is illegal. Just off to sit on my local highway to protest about something.Haven't decided what yet but presumably that is irrelevant as the Police do not judge what peaceful protest is ok and what is illegal based on the...

    Ryanair

In a fight they will still be among the last standing. Their abrasive penny pinching may have alienated some people but i keep reading about the huge cash reserves they have as a result.

I can certainly see a positive outcome for BHX In that scenario. What goes around comes around.

    Ryanair

That is something i feel is often overlooked when Ryanair's commitment to BHX is discussed. The amount of flights operated by away based aircraft. It is not all about based aircraft.. The timings also help the airport to make better use of their facilities.

    Random Stuff!

What i would like to do is invite everyone of those posters to go and sit in the jump seat in a flight simulator. Recreate the emergency (complete with smoke) and make them watch and listen, with their oxygen masks on. Might make some think again but i fear even then some will be still thinking...

C'mon folks! BHX-AMS came about 3000 passengers short of being in AMS top 20 European destinations last year. No mean feat when you look at the top 20 cities. Also only 5 of that top 20 were served by only 2 airlines. Now iread about being left high and dry and slot grabs and that Easy taking up...

    Expected Movements & Heads Up

Why would a trial be needed? 3 daily operated no problem while it lasted. The withdrawal had nothing to do with BHX ops 777 it may have been but they were coping with a number of long haul arrivals around the same time back then. Most no longer operating.

Not a great situation if they are parking their own aircraft and having to lease in crewed aircraft.Cannot blame the staff though if they are looking for more security. Then again as Ianbutty says they are taking steps to ensure the route keeps operating and that can only be a good sign...
